Reporter Bio - Jessica

Jessica first sat on a horse at the age of two and it was "love at first ride." Nicknamed Horsica by her classmates she was a full-fledged 'barn rat' by the time she was seven - mucking stalls and mooching rides whenever she could. She filled her summers horseshowing and spent her winters preparing for the next season. After high school, Jessica worked on the Hunter/Jumper Circuit as a grooom and braider for several years, but eventually switched her focus to a career in radio and television. She graduated from Seneca College in Broadcast Journalism and currently works in the programming department at MuchMusic. Jessica continues to get her horse fix by teaching and working as an occasional braider, and by bringing Hoofbeats! the News, the Horse of the Week and other informative and entertaining reports.
