Funky, Jazzy Horse Talk, featuring Summer Baillie Dressage (and music from Jason Raso)

In this edition of hoofbeats, you will hear how Summer Baillie is back in the saddle, after hip surgeries, and how the Summer-Baillie-Dressage-Business is growing and is in need of a working student!  A wonderful opportunity for the right applicant, to gain experience working with dressage horses from the very start to Grand Prix/FEI -- maybe you could manage performance horses (assisting vets, farriers, massage therapists, chiropractors and of course Summer), at a busy but friendly facility with big goals and a supportive and active learning environment?  Porter Oakes Farm and Summer Baillie Dressage are bringing top clinicians into the farm, so be sure to tune in for details about the event next weekend and on Nov 17/18. Of course it is not a paid position, but training would be provided on a daily basis! And, other opportunities may also be available...  Even if you only have time for a few days of the week, please don't hesitate to make contact.

In this show we also celebrate the music of Jason Raso, who is playing at the River Run Centre on Oct 26. We have used his music in our show intro for the last 3 seasons, and he has come a long way since then. With TWO new books just released, and a great "Live at the Jazz Room" album that you will hear many tracks from. Enjoy!

p.s.
shout out of thanks to Emily who volunteered this week!  You'll hear what she recorded in next week's show...

we are also hoping to arrange a special hoofbeats outing to explore sidesaddle!
